PRAYER: Appeal filed under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, against the judgment and decree in M.C.O.P.No.589 of 2001 on the file of the Principal Sub-Court, Dindigul, dated 10.10.2005.

JUDGMENT

This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is preferred by the appellant Insurance Company against the award amount of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) along with interest at 7.5% per annum for the injury sustained by the first respondent/claimant in the accident occurred on 25.11.1990.

2. Considering the fact that the award amount is only a sum of Rs.15,000/-(Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) and also the accident occurred on 25.11.1990, it is not a fit case for admitting this appeal.

3. Hence, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed confirming the award passed in M.C.O.P.No.589 of 2001 on the file by the Principal Sub-Court, Dindigul. No costs.
