Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to enhance and fix fair compensation of the award amount for the land and building acquired by the 2nd respondent, comprising in Survey No. 969/9 constituting 162 square metres situated at Thalaiyuthu village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, by taking into consideration of the market value of the lands situated in and around the areas by considering the petitioner's representation sent to the 1st respondent dated 9.12.2022 within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner seeks enhancement of the compensation amount awarded to him.

3. The first respondent is the authority competent to consider the petitioner's case for enhancement. The first respondent shall pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
