ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the the respondents to compensate the petitioners with a sum of Rs.50,00,000/- and to offer a job in their department based on the representation dated 22.11.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have made a representation to the respondents on 22.11.2025 for grant of an appointment in the respondent department on the ground that the 1st petitioner's husband got electrocuted and died due to contact with the high tension wire. However, since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/4

4. The learned counsel for the respondents would submit that on considering the representation of the petitioner, necessary orders would be passed.

5. Considering the said submission made, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.11.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
