ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.The present writ petition is filed to consider the representation, dated 19.12.2020 submitted by the petitioner to the respondents 1 and 2, to conduct a meeting on 17.01.2021 at Kakkavadi, Karur District at Survey No.80/1B, 1C and 83/3 and 4, Kakkavadi Village, Karur District.

W.P.(MD)No.97 of 2021 3.Mr.R.Saravana Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the earlier representation submitted by the petitioner was rejected on 22.11.2020, since there was a curfew under Section 144 Cr.P.C., due to Covid-19 pandemic situation.

4. However, it is to be noted that certain relaxations are given in the Government notification during November, 2020 and in the said circumstances, the District Collector is requested to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.12.2020, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. With the above observations, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
