Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 5 and 7 to issue patta in favour of the petitioner's property in Punja land in Survey No.1061/1B situate at Virudhunagar Registration District, Keelarajakulaman Sub-Registration District, Rajapalayam Taluk, Keelarajakulaman Village, total extend of 0.11.5 hectare, 1957.50-sq.ft., 181.86-sq.meter of land bounded on the North-Avudaithai land, SouthSreenivasan land, East-Venkadasamy naicker, West-road to Srivilliputhur on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2021 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner has given application before the fifth respondent seeking issuance of patta in respect of the petition mentioned land. The petitioner's prayer is opposed by the respondents 9 and 10. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the private respondents states that Thiru.Harish, brother's son of the ninth respondent has filed O.S.No. 141 of 2022 on the file of District Munsif Court, Rajapalayam and that the petitioner is figuring as one of the defendants therein. I do not want to go into the merits of the matter.

4.The fifth respondent is directed to pass final order on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2021 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a 3/6

copy of this order. Before passing final order, enquiry shall be conducted. Notices will be issued to the respondents 9 and 10 and other interested persons (Narayanasamy Naicker). All the contentions of the private respondents are left open.

5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
