ORDER
The Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to issue "No Objection Certificate" for running a Riya SPA (Saloon & Beauty Parlour) situated at Door No.3 to 5, 1st Floor, Sri Dhurka Complex, Thadikombu Road, Gurumbapatti Village Panchayat, Dindigul District, by considering the Petitioner's representation, dated 05.12.2023.
2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner had preferred a Petition before the 1st Respondent on 05.12.2023. Till date, the Respondent Police have not acted upon. Therefore, the Petitioner seeks direction against the Respondents, to grant permission.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor by way of reply submits that as per the amendment under Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules, 2023, Rule 299, Petition of this nature has to be sent to the Municipal Commissioner, who is desired to set up Committee. The Petitioner has to file proper Petition under Rule 299 of the above said Rule.
4. From the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Petitioner without filing such application before the Municipal Commissioner, straightaway approached this Court. Hence, the Petitioner is directed to file appropriate Petition as per Rule 299 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules, 2023.
5. On such Petition preferred by the Petitioner, the Authorities concerned is directed to dispose of the Petition within a reasonable time, preferably within a period of Two months from the date of receipt of such Petition.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
