ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the Chairman, Tamil Nadu Wakf Board and Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu Wakf board the respondents herein to appoint the petitioner as hereditary Muthavalli for the above referred Wakf namely Miasa Pallivasal and Idgah Wakf (G.S.No.725) situated at Kandiaperi Village, Palayapettai, Tirunelveli Tirunelveli Taluk and District in accordance with law by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2025 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondents, notice is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents on 22.09.2025 for 2/4

appointing him as Hereditary Muthavalli. However, since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Considering the limited scope of the matter and considering the said submission made, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.09.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
