This petition is filed to quash the impugned First Information Report in Crime No.8 of 2018 under Sections 498(A), 406, 323 and 506 (i) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, on the file of the respondent No.1, insofar as the petitioners are concerned.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation in the above said crime number has been completed and the final report has also been filed before the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai and the case was taken on file in CC No.5029 of 2020. 3.Since final report has been filed and cognizance was also taken, this petition has become infructuous.
