2.All that the petitioner wants is disposal of his rectification petition filed under Section 84 of the TNVAT Act. No exception can be taken to his request.

3.The learned Government Advocate for the respondent states that within a period of eight weeks, the petition mentioned representation will be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law.

4.Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
