ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 25.01.2022 and issue non-traceable certificate with regard to the document mentioned in the said complaint within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent for missing of his original sale deed vide document bearing No.4617 of 1982 dated 27.09.1982 in respect of the property which was situated at Trichy District, K.Sathanur Sub Registration District, Sethurapatti Village Ayyan Poonja in Survey No.85/16. He would further submit that the petitioner has also made paper publication with regard to the missing of original document.

4. Considering the above, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and issue Non-traceable Certificate to the petitioner, after ensuring the said document has not been deposited for any purpose, following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
