Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent to instruct the respondents to (i) take stringent action to control the covid-19 type-2 deceases in a war footing manner; (ii) to control the covid-19 type-2 decease, the Government should not allow assembling of 10 persons in all public places; (iii) to impose ban order on public meetings, procession, campaign to all political parties for the coming Election of Tamil Nadu State
assembly 2021; (iv) consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2020 and pass orders.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner, who is in the habit of filing numerous public interest litigations, has come forward to file the present one seeking a direction to the respondents to take appropriate action to control the variant of COVID-19.
2. We are not inclined to entertain this writ petition. It is for the State administration to take appropriate action. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the State submitted that action already initiated is being continued.
3. In such view of the matter, the present writ petition filed based upon a newspaper report, cannot be entertained. The Writ Petition stands dismissed accordingly. There will be no order as to costs.
