Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to provide adequate police protection to the Petitioner and her family to survey the Petitioners land situated in Survey No.2602/6B2 at Lakshmipuram Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District, on considering the Petitioner's representation' dated 26.09.2018. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Shankar Ganesh For Respondents : Mr.B.Bhagawathi, Government Advocate.

ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed for writ of mandamus directing the respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner.

2.The learned Government Advocate on instructions would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the parties were called for enquiry by the respondent police. The offending party has specifically given an undertaking before the respondent police that he will not cause any disruption to the petitioner and that he will work out his remedy before the competent Civil Court. The respondent police after getting the undertaking in writing from both parties have also closed the complaint.

3.In view of the undertaking given by the offending parties before the respondent police, no further order is required to be passed in this writ petition. In case of any violation of undertaking, it is left open to the respondent police to take action in accordance with law.

4.Accordingly, this Writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
