J U D G M E N T
(Judgment of this court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM,J) These Civil Miscellaneous Appeals are directed against the fair and decreetal order, dated 29.11.2016 passed in HMOP Nos.260 and 405 of 2014 by the Family Court, Madurai. 2.It is represented by the learned counsel for the appellant and the learned counsel for the respondent that the dispute between the parties have been settled before the Mediator. A joint memorandum of settlement, dated 06.11.2017 has been filed to that effect. The joint memorandum of settlement would run thus:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
(1)The marriage between the appellant and respondent held on 25.04.2012 is hereby dissolved;
(2)The appellant herein returned to-day (06.11.2017) the jewels of the respondent in the form 20 sovereigns and also the silver articles as per the list annexed herewith;
(3)The appellant herein paid a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen lakhs only) towards past and future maintenance and a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) towards the costs of utensils. The details of Demand Drafts for the above sum of Rs.16.00,000/- are set out in the list annexed to this Joint Memo of Compromise; and (4)The aforesaid settlement is full and final settlement of the claim of the respondent in the above proceedings C.M.A.(MD)No.1489 and 1490 of 2016 on the file of the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai."
3.In view of that, both Civil Miscellaneous Appeals are disposed of in terms of joint memorandum of settlement. The joint memorandum of settlement, dated 06.11.2017 shall part of the Decree. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
