O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] Seermigu Madurai Malar Commission Vyabarigal Nalasangam represented by its President has filed the present Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the unauthorised encroachments made by the street vendors in the flower market by occupying the public pathway on the northern side of Shop Nos.K-289 and K-312.

2.The Secretary, Madurai Market Committee has filed a status report along with photographs to show that all the street vendors and encroachers in the flower market been removed and proper fencing with display board fixed warning encroachments.

3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner also endorse the fact that encroachers are removed. At the same time, he also expresses his apprehension that the vigil against the encroachers must be consistent and necessary direction must be given to the respondents to that effect.

4.It is needless to say that the second respondent who is the Secretary of the Market Committee, Madurai, to ensure that there is no encroachment in the public pathway of the market. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
