ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct hunger strike on 20.10.2018, near Telegram Office, Tallakulam.

2.The learned Government Advocate on instructions would submit that permission cannot be granted near Telegram Office, Tallakulam. However, the Police can consider granting permission to the petitioner to conduct agitation near Goripalayam Pallivasal. For this purpose the petitioner has to make an individual representation to the second respondent.
3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will make a separate representation in this regard to the second respondent.
4.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the second respondent by indicating that the agitation will be conducted near Goripalayam Pallivasal on 20.10.2018 between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. 5.The second respondent Police shall consider the representation to be given by the petitioner and grant necessary permission to the petitioner. It is open to the second respondent to impose any reasonable conditions in order to ensure that agitation goes on peacefully without giving rise to any law and order problem. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
