ORDER: This Criminal Appeal is coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the grounds filed in support thereof, None Appeared for the Petitioner and MR.R.ANANDHARAJ, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, this Court made the following order:

This Criminal Appeal has been filed to set aside the order dated 06.07.2009 passed in C.C.No.80 of 2005 on the file of the learned Special District and Sessions Judge (Narcotics and Pshchotrophic Substances Cases), Madurai.

2.None appeared on behalf of the appellant.

3.From the records, it is seen that this Court by order dated 13.04.2019, has revoked the order of suspension of sentence and directed the respondent police to secure the appellant/accused. But, till such date, the respondent/Inspector of Police, Madurai NIBCID, has not taken any effective steps to secure the appellant/accused.

4.Accordingly, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Madurai NIBCID, to secure the appellant/accused, produce him before the Jurisdictional Court concerned and the same shall report before this Court in the next Special Sitting. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Post the matter on the next Special Sitting, for reporting compliance and for appearance of the Superintendent of Police and the Inspector of Police concerned.
