Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to release the petitioner's Tractor and Trailer bearing registration No.TN 76 AD 9796, seized by the 2nd respondent in connection with Crime No.284 of 2020 on 26.08.2020 and hand over to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.01.2021. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader states that the vehicle has already been produced before the jurisdictional Court and that RPR number has been assigned.

3.Therefore, it is for the petitioner to move the jurisdictional Court for release of the vehicle. As and when the petition is filed by the petitioner, the same will be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of ten days thereafter. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
