Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to accept the nomination of the petitioners and all other eligible candidates and conduct the election to the 5th respondent society in accordance with law. 2.Since the issue involved is one and the same, these writ petitions are taken up together for disposal. 3.It appears that in similar matters orders have been passed, which have been given effect to. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that only those who got orders from this Court were permitted to file their nominations.
4.Learned Additional Advocate General would submit that scrutiny is going on.
5.In view of the above, we deem it appropriate to permit the petitioners to file their nominations. Accordingly, we permit the petitioners to file their nominations before 2.00 p.m. today (12.10.2018). Consequent thereto, scrutiny will have to be conducted.
