S.No.950 and 951 at Kulathur Village, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District and to install the same through other appropriate line by considering the petitioners written representation dated 10.12.2025. O R D E R

The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction to the respondent to shift the High Tension Electricity Line which has been drawn across the roof of the petitioner's house situated S.No.950 and 951 at Kulathur Village, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. The petitioner submitted a representation in this regard to the respondents and the petitioner's grievance is that the said representation has not been considered as on today.

3. Learned State counsel for the respondents submitted that the request of the petitioner would be considered provided the petitioner 2/6

bears the expenses for shifting High Transmission Electricity Line.

4. The petitioner's contention is that without due process of law, the Transmission Line is drawn across the petitioner's property. However, the petitioner agrees to deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/-(Rupees one lakh only) towards shifting charges.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to realign the High Transmission Electricity Line and shift the same to a suitable location within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- Rupees one lakh only) before the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the said amount, the second respondent shall shift the High Tension Electricity Transmission Line within the above said time frame. 3/6

7. There shall be no order as to costs.
