Mr.V.Muthukamatchi, learned counsel for the appellant submitted that despite his best efforts, he could not contact the appellant and hence, he seeks further time.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police has produced a certificate, which was issued by the Village Administrative Officer, Nadiyammalpuram, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, dated 06.09.2019, showing that the appellant namely, Syed Tajudeen @ Tajudeen, son of Syed Ibrahim died three years back. 3.In view of the said certificate of the Village Administrative Officer, Nadiyammalpuram, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, dated 06.09.2019, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
