O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondents to survey and demarcate the four boundaries of the petitioner's land comprised in Survey Nos.250/510, 511 and 512, situated at Nanjikottai Village, Thanjavur Taluk, Thanjavur District, in the light of the application preferred by the petitioner vide Application No.20250830003257 dated 30.08.2025, within such period as may be stipulated by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Page No. 2 of 5

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been made for the demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the second and third respondents to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 30.08.2025, demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that, before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties, if any. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. Page No. 3 of 5

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
