J U D G M E N T

The appellant herein was convicted for the offence under Section 394 and 397 of I.P.C. and sentenced to seven years rigorous imprisonment vide judgement dated 11.11.2010 in S.C.No.112 of 2010, on the file of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court No.III, Madurai. Questioning the same, this criminal appeal has been filed.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned legal aid counsel appearing for the appellant as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the appellant had undergone the sentence imposed on him by the learned Trial Court and that after giving the benefit of remission, he has also been released.
