Respondents PRAYER:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue non-traceable certificate with regard to the Original Sale Deed registered in Doc.No.959/1997 on the file of the Kallikudi Sub-Registrar Office, Madurai District, relating to Punja land admeasuring 0.88.0 Ares comprised in S.No.233/4C, situated at Kenjampatti vilalge, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2020 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. The present petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to issue a "Non Traceable Certificate" in respect of Original Sale Deed registered as Document Number.959/1997 on the file of Kallikudi Sub-Registrar Office, Madurai District.
3. Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), who accepts notice for the respondents, contended that since the present petition is not filed by the person, in whose name, the sale deed stands, the petition is not maintainable. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Mr.S.P.Naveen Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the person, in whose name the sale deed stands, is residing in Kerala and therefore, his close friend has filed the present petition. This contention cannot be accepted for the simple reason that no authority / consent given by the owner of the sale deed is produced by the petitioner. Hence, the petition is dismissed. No costs.
