W.P.(MD) No.139 of 2026 R. VIJAYAKUMAR , J., The present writ petition was disposed of on 06.01.2026. At request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is listed today under the caption 'for being mentioned'.
2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, in the first paragraph, it should have been mentioned that the settlement deed has been executed by the petitioner. However, it is erroneously mentioned as the settlement deed has been executed by his wife.
3. Hence, Registry is directed to substitute the first paragraph as follows: "The present writ petition has been filed by a senior citizen seeking a Mandamus to cancel the settlement deed said to have been executed by him in favour of the respondents 3 and 4 on 15.12.2003 as void under Section 23(1) of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and based upon his representation dated 05.12.2025."
