This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue 'Online E-Patta' for an extent of 3 cents each, to all the petitioners in respect of their allotted free house sites, based on the assignment orders passed by the fifth respondent in Na.Ka.A.1106/1991, dated 02.02.2016.

2. With the consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, though a larger prayer has been sought in this Writ Petition, it would suffice to direct the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 30.09.2024 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioners, a direction is issued to the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 30.09.2024, within a period of six

(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
