ORDER
The Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents to grant permission to "Kida Muttu Event" and consequently to avail necessary protection to perform the Kida Muttu at Ayyanachi Amman Temple Thidal, Melur, Madurai District on 31.01.2024 from 08.00 am., to 04.00 p.m., subject to further conditions imposed by the Respondents by considering the Petitioner's Representation dated 16.12.2023 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor vehemently objects stating that the Respondents 1 to 3 refused the representation of the Petitioner on 05.01.2024, on the ground that there had been group tension between two groups. Further, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that since it was rivalry between two groups, representations given by both the groups are pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer.
3. In view of the above submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Petition is dismissed. The Petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Revenue Divisional Officer, for Peace Committee Meeting. Only on the orders of the Revenue Divisional Officer, the festival may be held. No costs.
