J U D G M E N T

The appellant was convicted for the offence under Section 324 of I.P.C. and sentenced to undergo six months rigorous imprisonment and levied with fine of Rs.4,000/- vide judgment dated 08.08.2011 in S.C.No.255 of 2010, on the file of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court No.I, Madurai. Questioning the same, this criminal appeal has been filed.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant submitted that the appellant had already undergone four months imprisonment. Taking note of the same and the date of occurrence, this Court even while sustaining the conviction imposed on the appellant, modifies the sentence of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.A.(MD)No.277 of 2011 imprisonment to the period of already undergone by him. With this modification in the matter of sentence, this criminal appeal is partly allowed. The bail bond, if any, executed by him shall stand cancelled.
