O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed to quash the order passed by the first respondent on 28.11.2025, wherein the handling and transportation contract of the second respondent has been extended up to 28.02.2026 or till finalizing of the e-tender, whichever is earlier.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the first respondent submitted that they require some time to float the tender notification, to evaluate the tender bids and to finalise the tender. The first respondent hereby undertakes to float the tender and issue notification on or before 28.02.2026. The said fact is recorded.

3. The learned Additional Advocate General further submitted that till finalizing the e-tender, the handling and transportation contract of the second respondent and other similarly placed contractors will be 2/4

extended.
