This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents 1 and 2 to rectify the mistakes and fix the guideline value to the property in Old Natham Survey No.110/3A, New Natham Survey No.110/3A1 admeasuring 0.33.30 Hectares in Natham Patta No. 664, Raghunathapuram Revenue Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the 5th respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.

According to the petitioner, the subject property is the petitioner's ancestral property and when the petitioner approached the 4th respondent to register a partition deed, he came to know that the guideline value for the subject property is shown as Zero value and the classification of the land is denoted as Government Poramboke. Further, as per the records of the 2nd respondent Department, the subject property was properly valued for the period from 01.04.2003 to 31.07.2007 and fixed the guideline value. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 16.02.2025, seeking to rectify the mistakes crept in the guideline value and fix the proper guideline value in respect of the subject property. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2025 would be considered in accordance with law. 3/6

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
