On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the matter was already settled amicably between the parties and the matter already referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre and a joint compromise memo was filed before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre and prayed the case to be quashed.

3. On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that the matter was compromised between the parties and the prosecution has no objection in quashing the case.

4. In view of the above submission, the joint compromise memo is recorded. This petition is allowed and the case in Crime No.23 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police, is hereby quashed.
