ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to direct the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram to dispose of C.C.No.481 of 2023 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted till date, summon has been served only on the 1st accused, who has entered appearance. The remaining accused have not yet been served with summons and the matter has been repeatedly adjourned for the past two years for completion of service on the said accused. Therefore, the petitioner seeks for expeditious conduct of the trial in the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram.

3. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the nature of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.481 of 2023 in Crime No.13 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
