ORDER:- This Criminal Original Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the earlier order of this court and letter in D.NO.1152/2020 Dated 22.09.2020 received by the Sessions Judge, Special Court for exclusive trial of cases under POCSO Act, Thoothukudi for seeking six months time to dispose the case, and upon hearing the arguments of MS.K.Malathi, Advocate for the Petitioner and of M/S.S.E.Veronica Vincent, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the State for Respondent No.I, and this Court made the following order:

By order dated 21.01.2020, this Court directed the Court below to dispose of Spl.S.C.No.36 of 2019 within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

2.The Court below has submitted a letter in D.No.1152/2020 dated 22.09.2020 wherein, the learned Judge citing Covid-19 lockdown, requested for extension of six months to comply with the above order dated 21.01.2020.
