By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that a complaint dated 04.07.2020 was lodged by the petitioner to the third respondent police and that on 08.12.2020, the second respondent / Deputy Superintendent of Police, Manamadurai Division, Manamadurai, called the petitioner over phone and abused her in filthy language and also coerced her to compromise the issue between her and the private respondents.

Mr.R.Saravana Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) who accepts notice for the respondents I to III would submit that the complaint dated 04.07.2020 was registered in CSR.No.397 of 2020 by the III respondent and both parties were advised to approach the competent civil forum to resolve their dispute. Subsequently, the complaint given to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Manamadurai Division was registered in Current Petition No.289/2020, and an enquiry was also conducted. According to him, a compromise was arrived at between the two parties. The learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner never agreed for any compromise and that the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Manamadurai Division abused her in filthy language and did not consider her representation dated 29.12.2020.

In the facts and circumstances of the present case, the third respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 29.12.2020 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of the order after affording necessary opportunities to the respondents 4 to 8 in accordance with law.

5. With the above observations, this petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
