ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing first respondent to take appropriate legal action against the respondents 7 to 11 and other members of the Village Committee for the illegal violation of fundamental right to life and liberty of the petitioners and a consequential direction directing the fourth respondent to conduct public auction for the usage of fish market of R.Pudupattinam Village, Aavudayarkoil Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondents 7 to 11 and thereafter conduct an enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the respondent 7 to 11, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
