PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS to direct the 1st Respondent to renew the Petitioner's Passport in Passport No.J4327924 in reference to the File No.TR2076039730625 dated 08.12.2025, pending on the file of the 1st Respondent Authorities, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2025.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent to renew the petitioner's passport based upon his application dated 08.12.2025 and his representation dated 18.12.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of the Court that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in Cr.No.93 of 2023 on the file of second respondent which has culminated in filing of a charge sheet in C.C.No.2562 of 2025 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.III, Tiruchirappalli.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court concerned seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case if any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of 2/4

four weeks. Based upon the orders to be passed by the learned trial judge, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
