************ [Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 herein to remove the unauthorized godown at Plot No.13 (10000 sq.ft land area approximately) Kurinji Nagar, Baloba Nanthavanam, North Gate Post, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu - 613 008 by considering the representation of the petitioners dated 02.12.2023.
2.According to the learned Standing Counsel for the Thanjavur Corporation, notices have been issued to the sixth and seventh respondents on 14.12.2023 for removal of the unauthorized godown. He would further submit that necessary action will be taken under the procedures contemplated under law. 3.Considering the said submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation, we direct the respondent Corporation to take necessary action for removal of the unauthorized construction of the godown in the property in question, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6
4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
