Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus to direct the respondents to produce the body of detenu namely, Likhil, Son of Annadurai aged about 24 years before this Court who is now detained in the Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli in pursuant to the detention order passed by the second respondent in Cr.M.P.No.82 / 19 dated 03.12.2019 (TPDA.No.8811, dated 04.12.2019) to call for the records and quash the same and release the detenu at liberty forthwith. [Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has filed the habeas corpus petition seeking to direct the respondents to produce the body of detenu namely, Likhil, Son of Annadurai aged about 24 years before this Court who is now detained in the Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, in pursuant to the detention order passed by the second respondent in Cr.M.P.No.82/19 dated 03.12.2019 (TPDA.No.8811, dated 04.12.2019) and release the detenu at liberty forthwith.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.342, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XII) Department, dated 20.01.2020, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked.

3. Recording the above submissions, the habeas corpus petition is closed.
