DECREE: This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the grounds of appeal, the order of the lower Court and the material papers in this appeal and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.K.GUHAN, Advocate for the appellant and Mr.V.OMPRAKASH, Advocate for the respondent and both parties having entered into a settlement and after considering the mediation report dated 01.09.2016, this Court doth order and decree as follows:-
1. that the Order and decreetal Order dated 29.01.2016 made in H.M.O.P.No.19 of 2014 on the file of the Judge, Family Court, Madurai be and are hereby set aside;
2. that the marriage between the appellant and the respondent be and is hereby dissolved, as the respondent has received the maintenance amount of Rs.16,00,000/- (Rupees Sixteen lakhs only) on 01.09.2016 as full and final settlement of maintenance amount from the appellant pursuant to the settlement under Six Demand Drafts bearing Nos.266281 dated 11.08.2016 Rs.1,50,000/- drawn on Canara Bank, Thevaram; 440408 dated 12.08.2016 for Rs.1,50,000/- drawn on Indian Bank, Thevaram; 243414 dated 12.08.2016 for Rs.3,00,000/- drawn on Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Cumbum, 440409, dated 16.08.2016 for Rs.3,00,000/- drawn on Indian Bank, Thevaram, 440410 dated 16.08.2016 for Rs.3,00,000/- drawn on Indian Bank, Thevaram and 214398, dated 16.08.2016 for Rs.4,00,000/- drawn on Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Bodi;

3. that eh acknowledgment as to the receipt of Sreedhana articles, jewels, household articles and utensils by the respondent from the appellant and the receipt of his jewels from the respondent by the appellant, which were given at the time of marriage, be and are hereby recorded;
4. that the respondent shall withdraw the case in M.C.No.13 of 2015 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Judicial Magistrate, Madurai) and also the Criminal Complaint filed by here in Crime No.121 of 2015 dated 22.09.2015 on the file of All Women Police Station, Melur, Madurai District pursuant to the settlement between the parties.
5. that there be no costs in this appeal.
