ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed, to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to initiate appropriate proceedings against the 3rd respondent under the Maintenance 1/4

and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, based upon the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2024 and 11.01.2024. 2.Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the entire materials available on record.

3.The petitioner is the mother of the third respondent. The claim of the petitioner is that after convincing the petitioner to execute the settlement with respect to her property in favour of the third respondent, the third respondent has refrained from maintaining her mother and hence she has made representations on 03.12.2024 and 11.01.2024 to the respondents 1 and 2 seeking to initiate action against the third respondent. 4.In view of the same, this Court hereby direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 03.12.2024 and 11.01.2024, as application under Section 5 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and take the representation to the file of the second respondent and cause notice to the third respondent and initiate proper enquiry and conclude enquiry and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
