Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner applied for issuance of passport. After submitting her application, she changed her address without intimating the authorities. After conducting field verification, the police submitted a report that the petitioner is not residing in the said address. Based on the said adverse report, the respondent issued show cause notice. Notice was un-delivered.

3. In these circumstances, the question of considering the petitioner's earlier application will not arise at all. The petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application for issuance of passport. It appears that there is no criminal case registered against the petitioner. It also appears that there is no specific impediment as such. If the petitioner files any fresh application, the respondent will consider the same and dispose it of within a period of twelve weeks after such receipt.
