PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to initiate contempt proceedings against all the contemnors herein for their willful disobedience of this Court's order dated 12.03.2019 passed in W.P.(MD)No.2192 of 2019 by issuing contempt notice, punish them under the Contempt of Courts Act. O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.] Alleging willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P. (MD)No.2192 of 2019 dated 12.03.2019, this Contempt Petition has been filed.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, it is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader that there are no encroachments in S.No.545/1 and therefore, no action was necessitated. However, incidentally, the respondents found some encroachments in S.No. 369/2, for which, action has already been initiated under the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905.

3.Since the representation of the petitioner having been considered, the disobedience alleged cannot be termed as wilful in nature. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed.
