[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The prayer in the Habeas Corpus Petition is to direct the respondents to grant ordinary leave for 30 days without escort to the detenu viz., Rahamathullahkhan, S/o.Jalaudheen, aged about 42 years, Convict No.7369 detained at Central Prison, Palayamkottai.

2. Heard Mr.P.Manokaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Neelakandan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has stated that the representation of the petitioner was rejected by the Deputy Inspector General of Prison, Madurai Range, Madurai, on 19.02.2020 and the copy of the order is also placed for perusal of this Court.

4. In the light of the above fact, nothing survives for consideration of this Court. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
