ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.145 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that the investigation has been completed and the police report was also filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi through e-filing mode.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the materials placed before this Court, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi is directed to act upon the final report filed by the respondent police in Crime No. 145 of 2022 within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. In the light of the above development, there is no scope to interfere with the FIR at this stage. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the proceedings before the Court below, it is left open to him to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
