Respondent/Respondent/PEtitioner/Land lord PRAYER: The Civil Revision Petition is filed under Section 25 of Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, against the decree and judgment dated 21.04.2012 made in R.C.A.No.24 of 2011 on the file of the Rent Control Appellate Authority cum Principal Subordinate Judge of Tiruchirapalli, confirming the decree and order dated 23.04.2011 made in R.C.O.P.No.98 of 2009 on the file of Rent Controller / Ist Additional District Munsif of Tiruchirapalli District.

O R D E R

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is represented that the possession has been taken over by the landlord.

2. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that when there is a reconstruction, the petitioner would be given a place to continue on rent. The respondent is unable to state whether the reconstruction has been completed after demolition. This Court cannot issue any direction in the revision petition stating that there should be an endless agreement entered into between the tenant and the landlord and it is for the landlord to enter into an agreement under the provision of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017, and then only the rental agreement will come into effect and it is open to the parties, if so advised, to act in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

3. In view of the above, the Civil Revision Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
