Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for their willful disobedience in not obeying with the order dated 27.01.2020 passed by this Court in W.P(MD) No.6903 of 2019 on the file of this Court. Prayer in WP(MD). 6903 of 2019 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 1st respondent by the proceedings in G.O.(D) No.45, Public Works (A2) Dept., dated 18.02.2019 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the panel for promotion.

ORDER

It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that as against the orders of the Writ Court, the Government has filed an appeal in W.A(MD) No.140 of 2021 and the order of the Writ Court has also been stayed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court on 27.01.2021.

3.Accordingly, this Contempt Petitions stand closed. However, if the cause of action for filing contempt arises after the disposal of the writ appeal, it is open to the petitioner to do so.
