ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent herein to produce the body or person of the petitioner's daughter namely Manimehala, D/o.R.Velmurugan, aged about 19 years before this Hon'ble Court and set her at liberty.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the detenue has been secured and produced before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has also reported before this Court that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case as been registered in Crime No.594 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent police and enquiry has been conducted and during such enquiry, the petitioner appeared before the police and based on the statement made by the detenue, he made a request not to proceed further in this matter.

4. On enquiry, the detenue has categorically made a statement that she got married with one Siva and she wants to go along with him and does not want to go along with her parents.

5. Recording the aforesaid statement, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
