2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property originally belonged to the petitioner's father, in whose name patta was also issued. Pursuant to a partition among the legal heirs of the petitioner's father, the subject property was allotted to the petitioner. When the petitioner applied for transfer of patta in his name, the fifth respondent refused to effect the patta transfer on the ground that the subject land had been classified as 'Anadeenam' and marked as restricted land. According to the petitioner, the subject land was wrongly classified as 'Anadeenam'. After the best efforts made by the petitioner for cancellation of the said erroneous classification and for removal of the restriction by continuously approaching the respondents, the fourth respondent issued a communication dated 04.01.
2025 stating that the subject property, which had been wrongly classified, was ordered to be released from such restriction and that the request for correction had been processed through the Tamil Nilam online portal under Application ID No. 2024/0109/26/0253340 and approved. However, no further action has been taken till date.

4. Though the petitioner has submitted several representations over the past two years, the issue has not attained finality. Finally, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 30.10.2025, which also did not evoke any response. Therefore, the petitioner was constrained to file the present Writ Petition.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 30.10.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks.
6. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.10.2025 on its merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation dated 30.10.2025 shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The Page No. 4 of 6
