ORDER

Questioning the judgment of acquittal dated 29.07.2010 made in Crl.A No.30 of 2010 on the file of the Principal Sessions Court, Madurai, the complainant had filed this criminal revision case. 2.The revision petitioner is a school teacher. The first respondent was a police official during the relevant time. After hearing the learned counsel on either side, this Court suggested that the issue can be given a quietus if the first respondent gracefully expresses his apology to the revision petitioner and also pays a sum of Rs.25,000/- as compensation. The suggestion made by this Court was accepted by the first respondent who is presently abroad. Over phone, he contacted the revision petitioner and he had conveyed his sincere regret for the unfortunate incident that occurred on 09.08.2004.

The revision petitioner appreciating the sentiments of the first respondent has decided to give a closure to this issue. The revision petitioner had also sent a mail to the first respondent in this regard. The first respondent's counsel states that a sum of Rs.25,000/- will be taken as a Demand Draft in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

favour of the revision petitioner and handed over to the petitioner's counsel within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
