ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.) appearing for the respondents.
2. The petitioner is working as a sweeper in a private textile shop. Her daughter Lakshmi had left home some three months back. The petitioner is said to have given a complaint in this regard before the second respondent. However, according to the petitioner, the second respondent had take her thumb impression in some blank papers. Based on the said thumb impression, a complaint was fabricated in the name of the petitioner in order to implicate the house owner by name Kutty. The petitioner's counsel states that the said house owner had filed human rights case against the local police and the local police are using her thumb impression for foisting a case against the said Kutty.
3. On the other hand, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would state that after giving a complaint that her grand daughter is missing, the petitioner is not co-operating in the investigation.

Since the petitioner herself states that she never gave the complaint that her grand daughter is missing, the second respondent is directed close Crime No.1176 of 2021 and file final report as 'action dropped' before the jurisdictional Magistrate. The jurisdictional Magistrate is directed to accept the same. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
