ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition had been filed seeking direction against the Respondents 1 and 2 to conduct further investigation.
2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the petitioner herein is the De-facto complainant. As per the Petitioner's case, the Petitioner's brother had committed suicide and before committing suicide he is alleged to have given a video call stating that he is likely to end his life due to the harassment made out. The first Respondent had originally registered a case under Section 174 Crpc. Till date, the alteration report is not filed. When the Petitioner approached the first Respondent, he replied that it is not within his jurisdiction. Therefore, on instructions of the first Respondent, the Petitioner had approached the second Respondent and there also they disputed the territory. Therefore, the Petitioner approached this Court seeking direction against the Respondents 1 and 2 to conduct further investigation.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents submitted that the first Respondent had already conducted an enquiry and proceeded with the investigation and also awaiting for viscera report. If the same is received, he is ready to file a final report before the 2/5
Court concerned.
4. Considering the points raised by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is of the view that the Commissioner of police, Madurai can nominate a Senior Officer to supervise the investigation and file appropriate final report as early as possible.
